Surfing is physical and spiritual. It is a whole-body sport that loves lean and demands upper body, lower body, and core strength plus flexibility. It requires perhaps more courage than you have ever needed. It will improve your courage in tackling other challenges in your life. The appreciation of Mother Nature and the connection you create with your body skills interacting with Nature’s waves is very spiritual.

If you want to become a better surfer, you will begin to improve who you are on many fronts. Most surfers want to lose weight to be more agile and lighter on the board. They need more strength and stamina to have longer sessions. They need skills to improve. Each step of advancement requires more courage. You can sit among other surfers enjoying the same vibes. No phones. If you want to progress fast, you can put in the work of physical training, learning skills, and visiting the water often.
